Thank you for your interest in Collinswood PTA and helping us make a difference for all children! Please complete and submit this form by Friday, March 28, 2025. Elections will take place during a PTA meeting in May. We will also accept nominations from the floor during the General Membership Election Meeting.
General Time Commitment
The time commitment is manageable and the Board is a motivated supportive group, we hope you will join us in service for our teachers, children and school.

- Leads PTA General and Board of Directors meetings
- Primary point of contact to School Principal
- Serves as PTA representative to School Improvement Team (SIT)
- Signs checks and PTA contracts
Elementary School VP and Middle School VP
- Performs duties requested by the president and board of directors
- Maintains the PTA Events Calendar
- Reviews and approves PTA communications (newsletters, flyers, etc.)
- Provides oversight and communications support across all PTA channels (website, email, social media, GroupMe)
- Works with PTA Officer Team to update and produce materials for Back-to-School events, Fall Open Houses & Beginners’ Day (Spring)
- Works with Webteam to update the PTA website
- Creates and distributes the Summer e-newsletter in partnership with Newsletter team
- Handles logistics (i.e. Zoom link and recording) for PTA General & Board Meetings
- Records meeting minutes and manages approval
- Works with Executive Board and Web team to support Officer transitions over the summer
- Maintains files of important documents such as PTA by-laws.
- Fundraising
- Manages PTA Budget, deposits and signs checks
- Oversees all fundraising-related events such as, Book Fair, Spirit wear sales, Lands’ End cash rewards
- Tracks PTA paid membership
- NCPTA liaison
