Rising 1st Grader Pro-Tip:
Over the summers, journaling 2-3x/wk in Spanish & English, partially to keep up penmanship, but also because they will be writing a lot more in 2nd grade. If they seem resistant, have them write out a birthday or Christmas wish-list.
